The South Jersey Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc. (SJRC&D), located in Columbus, New Jersey; was formed in 1974 to address environmental issues in South Jersey.  The Council covers 4,710 sq. miles and includes the eleven southern counties of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Salem.  The Council is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and is comprised of a County government and a Soil Conservation District representative from each of the eleven counties.  The Council bridges the gap between local resource needs and community development providing a unique partnership between county, local and federal partners.

SJRCD unveils Tour des Farms Route Map

The South Jersey Resource Conservation and Development Council (SJRC&D) will sponsor the 3rd Annual Tour des Farms on Saturday, September 19, 2009. This eZine is being sent to all pre-registrants to provide a preview of the routes you may be riding. The map may be viewed at http://www.sjrcd.org/tourdesfarms/TdfMap2009.pdf.

Please Note: Snacks and rest rooms will be provided at the Museum.

During registration you will also be given a printed copy of the map with the Cue Sheet on the reverse side to take with you on your ride. Additionally each route will be marked with the respective arrow markers below:

Safety

Please note:

You must wear a helmet. Includes children in trailers.

You must be age 12 or older.

You must follow the rules of the road as you share the road with motorists.

You must sign a release form at sign-in.

Please print and sign the form and bring to registration - Waiver Form

Trailers must be used per manufacturer's specifications.

You are encouraged to carry water bottle(s).

The Event is limited to the first 300 entries.

 

The Council is interested in the rider's perspective of the event.
Any budding writers are encouraged to contact the Ride Marshall with
the intent of writing an article describing their experience of the event.
