Membership to the South Jersey RC&D Council

The South Jersey RC&D Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  As such, we depend on dues, donations, and grants to do the important work we do for you.  We also need volunteers to help us do a number of jobs.

We currently offer a number of ways for you to get involved. 

First, the Council offers direct involvement in specific projects.  We need people to take photo's, write brief news articles, and help arrange local meetings. Our current ongoing projects include our network of weather stations for irrigation scheduling, pest management, and watershed modeling; upland wildlife habitat improvement; wetland wildlife habitat improvement; and various watershed management projects.

Second, the Council needs input from its local residents.  We offer various member-at-large positions.  The only requirement is that you are available to attend meetings during the day here in Hammonton.

Third, the Council offers a Corporate Partnership opportunity.  Any Corporation that has similar interest as we have are welcomed to contact us.  After some discussion, we will determine how best we can build off one another.

We always can use a monetary donation.  Some day in the near future we will be able to offer you the chance to donate money by credit card through our secure server.  However, that day is not here yet.  So, if after visiting with us, you decide to donate money, please print this page. 

WE ARE RESTRICTED, BY LAW, TO ONLY ACCEPT DONATIONS FROM WITHIN NEW JERSEY.  THE COUNCIL IS REGISTERED WITH THE NEW JERSEY STATE CHARITIES.
